Richard Woodworth Obituary

Richard Howard Woodworth, 83, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 2, 1935 in Toledo. He was a graduate of Waite High School and a U.S. Army veteran. Richard retired with 30 years service from Jeep. He participated in ping pong tournaments and bowling leagues. Richard enjoyed golf and fishing and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Richard is survived by his children, Sherri (Warren) Kirwen, Richard (Pam) Woodworth, Paula (Bill) Gallagher and their mother Linda Woodworth; grandchildren Freeman (Amanda), Jamee (Kyle), Mary (Ben), Brent, Michael, Todd and James; great-grandchildren Caiden, Millie, Justice, Alexis, Kylie, Justin, Nolan, Landon, Nevaeh and Amber. Many step children; step grandchildren; and step great-grandchildren. Richard is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Woodworth and his parents George and Anna (Hipkiss) Woodworth.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 4-7 p.m. Graveside service will be Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
