Ronald Lee "Ron" Floriana

Ronald Lee “Ron” Floriana, 73, went home to be with Jesus, his Savior, on Monday, April 2, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 19, 1945 in Port Clinton to the late Alfred and Violet (Rutherford) Floriana. Ron retired from Daimler Chrysler with 32 years of service. He enjoyed rocking his grandbabies, fishing, camping, walking, traveling, singing and cheering for his children and grandchildren’s activities.

Ron is survived by Nancy, his loving wife of 50 years; daughters Michelle (Michael) Hall, Melissa (Mike) Kelly, Monica (George) Hansen and Melody (John) Hofbauer; grandchildren Hannah, Ivory, Megan, Andrew, Malachi, Adam, Joshua, Derek, Nathan, Leah and Vanessa; siblings Alfred Jr., Jane, Ted, Bonnie, Doug and Bob; in-laws Diane (Bob) Verb and Gerry (Elean) Rife and many special nieces and nephews In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by siblings Marge, Kenny, Dick, Fred and Denny; mother-in-law Betty Rife. He was followed in death soon after by his father-in-law Gerald Rife.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. There will be a short visitation Friday, April 6, 2018 from 10-11 a.m., followed by the homecoming celebration at 11 a.m. at Foundation Stone Christian Church, 4532 Woodville Rd., Northwood, OH 43619. Burial will follow at Allen Twp. Cemetery in Williston, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to Foundation Stone Christian Church or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
