Rosemary June Montgomery

Rose Montgomery our beautiful mother and angel, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center.  She was born on January 16, 1939 in Toledo to Paul and Mary Wheeler.  Rose attended Waite High School and at one time was the swim instructor for the school.  She would help everybody and anybody, no matter what her own circumstance might be, she was everyone’s Grandma.  Rose loved spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, poker and rummy.  You may have seen her at Jordan’s drinking a Rolling Rock and tomato juice.  Rose also known as big tit Rose, made many friends and never had to buy a drink.  She enjoyed wrestling, John Cena and KFC. Rose loved tending bar at the Music Box and Bank Bar. She will be dearly missed.

Rose is survived by her loving family, children:  Pauline (Scott) Dancs, Julie Kyer, Joann (Rick) Smith, Tracy Montgomery, Toni Montgomery and Sharon Conine; sister, Ella Metzler and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leroy; daughter, Patricia (Bob) Conley; brother-in-law, Bob Berry and son-in-law, Dave Kyer.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
