Ruth Ann (Murphy) Iles

            Ruth Ann(Murphy)  Iles, 76, of Pioneer, OH went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 14, 2017 at Community Hospital and Wellness Center in Bryan, OH.

            Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

            She was born in Millbury, OH on August 6, 1940 to Alvin and Merriam (Forth) Murphy and married Clifford Iles on March 1, 1958. The two were high school sweethearts from the age of fourteen. Ruth was a devoted Christian woman and a member of Lake View Church in Camden, MI. Her pride and joy was her children and grandchildren and they will miss her dearly.

            Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Clifford; children, William (Jeanne) Iles and Cindy (Jessie) Sammons; grandchildren, Nicole (Jeff), Jasmine (Alex), Israel, Juda, Kael (Tabitha), Kimberly (Mark) and Stacy; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-grandson coming; brother, Ron (Shelby) Murphy and cousin, Gary Murphy. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.

            Family and friends may visit Lake View Church, 4616 E. Territorial Rd. Camden, MI. 49232, from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 with a celebration of her life on Friday at 11 a.m. at Lake View Church with the family greeting guests one hour prior to the service. Ruth’s funeral service will take place at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon, OH at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake View Church Expansion Fund.
