Stephen Lee Glashauser

     Steve Glashauser, 50, of Walbridge, OH, passed away at 1:28 pm on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family and friends.  Just over a month ago, Steve was diagnosed with cancer.  He was born on November 26, 1966 in Toledo, OH to Paul and Irene Glashauser who predeceased Steve.  Steve worked for Calphalon since 1995 and was with the company until his passing.  Not only was Steve a dedicated employee, he was dedicated to his family and the many friends he made at Friendly Village where he resided for the past 25 years.  During the time he resided in Friendly Village Steve was known as a very helpful handyman; helping his neighbors with home and car repairs.  If he wasn’t helping family or friends with a project, he would be working on his boat or out fishing.

     Steve is survived by children: Cristin, Adrian (Cody), Brandon, and Stephanie; his grandchildren who lovingly called him papa; siblings, Jo (Cliff), Penny (Ernie), Carl, Mikey, and Kenny (Mary); many nieces and nephews and dear friends who loved and will miss him very much. Steve was also preceded in death by his siblings, Pauline and Billie.

     Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 11-3 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
