Stephen W. Kinsey

Stephen W. Kinsey, 75, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice Residence.  He was born on June 24, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephen and Betty Kinsey.  Stephen was a 1960 graduate of Clay High School and served in the U.S. Navy.  He married his wife, Judy on May 1, 1965 and started their family together having 3 daughters. He owned Kinsey Architect & Associates for many years.  In addition to creating his architectural renderings, Stephen was a talented artist.  He painted many pictures of religious and nature themes.  In his spare time, he loved listening to music, especially spiritual music, Elvis and doo-wop. Stephen helped others by giving uplifting spiritual talks.  He enjoyed fishing and going out to eat at his favorite restaurant, Jolly Rogers.  He will be dearly missed.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judy; daughters, Lori (Greg) Walling, Melissa (Rob) Pohlman and Andrea (Adam) Martin; grandchildren, Kyle, Troy, Haily, Derek, Taylor, McKenzie and Reece; great-grandson, Noah; sister, Kris (Gene) West and sisters-in-law, Donna (Fritz) Ackerman and Barbara (Steve) Yunker.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on May 19, 2018 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Oregon.  Memorial contributions can be made to the surviving spouse to help during this difficult time.
