Ted R. Warvell

Ted R. Warvell of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, too soon at the age of 70.  He was born on May 28, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Ted and Violet Warvell.  Ted was a 1965 graduate of Woodward High School and served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army.  He worked for AT & T, retiring in 2008 after 30 years of service.  Ted was an avid Ohio State fan as well as Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.  In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed.

Ted is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Becky Warvell; children, Todd (Racquel) Warvell, Trisha (Scott) Zapadka, Tara (Jason) Duris and Tom (Amanda) Warvell; his 10 favorite people, his grandchildren, Mia and Ella Warvell; Taylor, Kyle and Brendan Zapadka; Kirsten, Madelin and Kendall Duris and Jaxon and Avery Warvell.  He is also survived by his siblings, Ken (Pat) Warvell and Darlene (John) Sopko.  Ted was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Libby Lenga.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd. in Oregon at 10 a.m.  Family will receive guests after 9 a.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Health St. Charles Spiritual Care to be donated for the St. Charles Hospital Chapel.
