Terry Ann Ruby, RN

     Terry A. Ruby, 58, of Oregon passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. She was born in Toledo on July 11, 1959 to Captain John H. and Ruth D. (Derringer) Ruby, RN and was a 1977 graduate of Clay High School. She received her RN degree from the University of Toledo and for many years, worked for Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. Terry also worked for the American Red Cross on various blood drives. She cherished her nieces and nephews and adored her dog, “Sweet Pea”.

     Terry is survived by her siblings, Christina C. (James) Johnson, Roberta M. Groll, John K. (Bonny) Ruby and Rex Q. (Jacqueline) Ruby; nieces and nephews, Eric Shiple, Lindsay (Christopher) Kurpes, Nicholas Shiple, Zachary Johnson, Amanda Downey, Jennifer Belair, Kaylin (Alex) Russeau, Rex Groll, Hallie, Colin, Katie and Jovin Ruby. She was preceded in death by her parents.

     Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 4-6 p.m. with the Memorial Service to begin at 6 p.m. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
