Toshie Patrick

Toshie Patrick, 74, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Mercy-Health St. Charles Hospital.  She was born on May 9, 1944 in Hiroshima Japan to Tomotsu and Shizumi Takasuka.  Toshie was part owner of Sakura Gardens Restaurant, which she ran for many years.  Toshie loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.  She was often found cooking and baking for her family.  Toshie loved listening to music, dancing and taking pictures, she was always behind the camera.  Toshie enjoyed playing Bingo and card games.  She held a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dogs.  She will be dearly missed.

Toshie is survived by her son, Scott Patrick; daughter, Angela (Greg) Cousino; grandchildren, Justin, Darcee, Corey and Alex; great-grandchildren, Aaleina, Ava, Clara, Lilliana, Clay, Emree, Kinsley, Levi, River and Callie.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Danny Patrick. 

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 2-6 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society.
