Veronica Lee (Rombach) Elias

          Veronica L. Elias, 75, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital surround by her loving family.  She was born on November 14, 1942 in Martin, Ohio to Leroy and Elva Rombach.  Veronica was a 1960 graduate of Genoa High School.  She worked many years as a loan closer for Lawyers Title Agency.  Veronica also worked for various photography studios including:  Olan Mills and Moto Photo.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading.  But most of all she loved spending time with her family and her two cats, Gracie and Queenie. She will be dearly missed

          Veronica is survived by her son, Peter Elias; sisters, Judith Rombach and Jolene (Gerald) Kopena; nephews, Jeremy and Joshua Kopena; cousins, Jessica and Erica Sutton and James Sutton, Jr.  She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Otto and Edna Freimark and Charles and Harriet Rombach and her aunts, Bessie Sutton and Ellen Freimark.

          A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at Genoa Trinity United Methodist Church, 313 Main St. Genoa, OH 43430 where a Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Genoa Trinity United Methodist Church or Toledo Humane Society.
