Vicki Renee Walker, 64, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 surrounded by family. She was born on December 8, 1953 in Akron, OH. Vicki married her first husband Charles “Charlie” Walker in July 1973 and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1996. She worked for Akron City Hospital for more than 20 years. Vicki enjoyed reading, craft shows, camping and had a great love of animals.

Vicki is survived by her mother Mary Ferrero; daughter Linda (Michael) Murphy, son Rick Walker; longtime companion Richard “Perry” Nadeau; granddaughter Racheal (Christopher) Yocum, grandson Sean Murphy; Aunt Fran (Jack) Hubbell and other family and friends.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Akron Humane Society.
