William "Willie" J Filicko

William “Willie” J. Filicko, 82, of Toledo, passed away November 4, 2018 at his home. He was born January 5, 1936 in Cleveland to Matthew Filicko and Stephanie. Willie was a diesel mechanic for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 2322 in Rossford. Besides the love of his family, there were three things he loved best: Milwaukee Best Light, The Cleveland Browns, and Western films.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Filicko; children, Teresa Brailsford and Richard Filicko; and grandson, Phillip Brailsford. Willie was the last of seven siblings, and was also preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 2-7 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
