Winnie Ruth Shively, 84, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born July 28, 1933 in Thomaston, GA. Winnie was a graduate of Scott High School. Winnie held many positions over the years from elevator operator at Lamson Dept. Store, waitress at the Tic Toc Restaurant and volunteer at Lark Elementary School to retail sales at Tiedtke’s Dept. Store. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and kissing and hugging her grandchildren.

Winnie is survived by children Garry, Timothy (Ann) Sr., Catherine (Lori) Duris, Daniel (Tonya) and James (Cassie); 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and sister Dorothy. She is preceded in death by parents Henry and Maudy Mae (Jones) Gresham, husband Richard Sr., son Richard Jr.; sisters Vivian Lee, Betty, Nina Mae, and Frances; brothers Bob and Kenny.

Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
