Zachary Clark Diefenthaler, 27, passed away August 20, 2018. He was born February 16, 1991 to John Diefenthaler and Jennifer (Sales) in Flint, MI. He was a mechanic for Republic Services.
Zachary’s greatest love in life was his three precious children. He worked hard to make sure everyone around him was filled with lots of laughter and smiles. He also enjoyed fishing with his PaPa. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and working on cars.
Zachary is survived by his children, Mason Diefenthaler, Arya Diefenthaler, and Blake Diefenthaler; parents, John (Miriam Lima) Diefenthaler and Jennifer (William) Schomaker; siblings, Jared Scholten, Anthony Scholten, and Jeffrey Diefenthaler; grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Diefenthaler, Pam and Anthony Sales; great-grandma, Norma Hobson; mother of Mason and Arya, Meghan Peiffer; step-siblings, Alex, Anthony, Katherine, Kara, and Kelsey; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by uncle, James Diefenthaler; great-grandfather, Charles Clark.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Allen Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Zachary’s children.
