Thomas James Swert, Jr.

Thomas James Swert, Jr., age 44, of Toledo, OH, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at home. He was born in Toledo, OH to Thomas Sr. and Lori (Foreman) Swert on July 3, 1979. Thomas worked in construction and landscaping for several years. He enjoyed listening to music, working out, playing basketball, and working around the house. His greatest joy in life was his family and he will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish Thomas’ memory are his beloved wife, Star; his children, Lillian, and Thomas III; his siblings, Steven (Nicole), Michelle (Jason), Anthony (Tiffany), and Crystal; his mother, Lori; and his grandmother, Nancy. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas (Shelly), and his grandfather, Lloyd.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed toward the family.
