Alvena (Wells) Rose

Alvena (Wells) Rose, 83, passed away on 03-25-2012 at Countryside Continuing Care in Fremont, Ohio. She was born on 12-08-1928 in Kenton Ohio to James & Mary Wells. Alvena married James Rose in 1948. Alvena loved painting, volunteering, playing golf and she loved to laugh and she loved her family. She was a dedicated housewife and a loving mother to her four sons. After their sons were raised, Jim & Alvena retired to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where they enjoyed the sun and warm weather. Alvena was a gracious hostess & enjoyed visits from their children & grandkids. She was feisty and intuitive with a heart of gold. She had three siblings, Helen Vanlue, Maxine Moore of Maumee and Walter “Bud” Wells. Alvena is preceded in death by her husband James Rose, parents James & Mary Wells; her sister Helen Vanlue; and her brother Bud Wells. She is survived by her sister Maxine Moore; her sons, James Rosignola, Genoa Ohio; Samuel Rose (Brenda), Oak Harbor, Ohio; Jerry Rose, Bellevue, Ohio; and Randy Rose (Andrea), Fort Lauderdale, Florida; grandchildren, Jaime Blassingim (Bill); Amber Reyna (Amador); Amy Rosignola (Antonio); Justin Rose; Maegan Rose; Ashley Rose; great-grandchildren, Rionna Ward; Maria Reyna; Amadore Reyna Sr.; Neveah Ramirez; Antonio Ramirez; James Ramirez; Lyla Rose and great great-grandchildren, Arielle and Marianna. Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 South Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 2 until 7 p.m.
