Ann A. Cumming

Ann Arlene Cumming, age 94, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Majestic Care of Toledo. She was born on August 18, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Lewis and Lois (Wilson) Mattox. Ann worked at Craig’s Beer Barrell for many years, also The Hot Dog Shack, Tony Packos, and owned Ann & Ray’s Market on Starr Ave. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo at the East Toledo Senior Center.

Ann is survived by her children, Ann (Thomas) Dillon, James (Janet) Mathers, and John (Michelle) Mathers; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Walter (Marge) Mattox. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene Cumming; son, George Mathers, and her brothers, Bob, Jimmy, Leroy, Marquis, and Michael.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 10:00-12:00 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m.
