Anthony M. Horvath, age 87, a longtime resident of East Toledo and currently of Bradner, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. He was born on November 15, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Mary (Carlo) Horvath. Anthony served in the United States Marine Reserves. He worked for over 32 years at Libbey Owens Ford before retiring. During retirement Anthony wintered in Florida with his wife, Rhea. Anthony was always willing to lend a helping hand. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, taking trips to Amish Country in Southern Ohio, and traveling around the United States with his wife in their RV.
Anthony is survived by his children, Greg Horvath, Kim Knaggs, Michelle Horvath of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Craig (Christine) Horvath; grandchildren, Andy Horvath, Sister Glorea Knaggs, Daniel Knaggs, Matthew (Amber) Knaggs, Melissa (Evan) Girard, Stephanie (Gregory) Stimler, Tony (Kim) Horvath, and Dominick (Leah Giavatto) Horvath; great-grandchildren, Clement, Honorine, and Celeste Girard, Lucy, Tucker, and Lola Knaggs, Ethan Stimler, and Nolan and Paetyn Horvath; and his sister, Sandra (Mark) Potrzebowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rhea; and son-in-law, Charles Knaggs.
Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow services at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
