Beverly Ann Bird

Beverly Ann Bird, age 82 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Mercy Health-St Vincent Medical Center. She was born on August 5, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Gordon and Eleanor (Holden) Stahl. Beverly was a 1960 graduate of Woodward High School. She worked as a cook for over 40 years at the Family Affair Restaurant. On April 25, 1977 she married Robert Bird and together they started their family. He preceded her in death in 2013.

Beverly’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven from the threads of love, family, and friendship. She found happiness in activities that brought her closer to her loved ones, such as playing bingo, solving crossword puzzles, and taking family vacations. Her bond with her husband was strong, and she cherished every moment they spent together. Beverly’s family as well as her dogs were her greatest treasure, and she devoted her life to creating lasting memories with them. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others were qualities that inspired those around her. As a loyal fan of Ohio State and the Detroit Lions, Beverly’s passion brought her family and friends together. Her memory will continue to uplift and inspire those who knew her, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.

Beverly is survived by her children, Melanie (Robert) Pennington, Wayne Morris, Scott Morris, Christine (Victor) Stewart, and Sharon (Robert) Evans; 7 stepchildren; 20 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren; and brother, Jerry (Linda) Stahl. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Robert Bird, Jr.; daughter, Sandy Wilder; grandchildren, Jeremy, Tony, and Kim; great-grandson, Demetrius; and her siblings, Tom, Shirley and Evelynn.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 2 –8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery.
