Casimir Zablocki, 74, passed away on June 19, 2025 at his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Richard and Evelyn (Bagrowski) on August 18, 1950. He would go on to meet the love of his life Wanita and they would enjoy many years together.
Casimir was a loyal employee of Toledo Stamping, now known as Toledo Technology, serving in various roles and eventually retiring from the organization. During his tenure with the organization he at one point served as a union steward and was a member of the local 12. He was a huge Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed NFL football, and supported the Lions. His love for football extended to college sports as well, he was a passionate Notre Dame fan. Casimir was a great guy, someone who actively looked to help people and was always there for someone in need. He also had a special love for pets, his canine companion will miss his presence.
Casimir is survived by brothers, George (Betty) Zablocki and Richard W. (Barbara) Zablocki; Shirley Zablocki; step-daughter, Dawn (Larry) Pioterek, step-grandchildren, step-son, Tony (Faith) Perales; step-daughters, Tina and Angel (Dayco), and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Casimir in death are his parents, brother, Benny and sisters Mary and Delores.
A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, June 24. 2025, from 10 a.m.-12p.m., where a funeral service will be held beginning at 12 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Bob May.
