Cathy Fay Henneman, 49, of Toledo and formerly of Jerusalem Township, passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2026. She was born October 30, 1976, to Ronald and Charlotte (Combs) Henneman and was a 1995 graduate of Clay High School. Cathy worked as a hairdresser, beginning her career at the Lions Store Hair Salon in Toledo before later working at Riviera Hair Salon with her lifelong friend Carolyn Hirschl. She also loved bartending at Jordan’s Place and Barbie’s Place. Cathy was full of life, laughter, adventure, and compassion. She had a lifelong love of animals, plants, people, music, dancing, and Native American culture, and never hesitated to help someone in need. She was beautiful inside and out and had a way of making everyone around her feel loved. She especially adored her beloved paraplegic dog, Mamaz, and was often seen pushing her around in a stroller.

Though she couldn't have children of her own, Cathy found immense joy in being an Aunt. As “Aunt Cat,” she loved her nieces as her own and was their first best friend, filling their lives with birthday shenanigans, summer adventures, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Her love and presence will remain with them forever.

Cathy was a light in the lives of her family and loved being a sister & taking care of her little brother and big sister. She was deeply loved by countless friends and family members. Her laughter, kindness, beauty, and spirit will be profoundly missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Exer Curtis, Loretta Henneman, and Ronald Henneman. Cathy is survived by her parents, Ronald and Charlotte Henneman; Sister, Exer (Charles Johnson) Henning; brother, Ronald (Teresa Stoner) Henneman Jr.; Nieces, Angel (Jeff) Godfrey, Samantha Williams, Gracy and Lylah Henneman, Ashley Baugh; Great-niece, Shayna Machala; Nephews, Ethan & Timmy, Goddaughter, Alyssa Thomas; Her boyfriend, Ryan Palmer; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
