Charles "Chuck" Sass, Jr.

Charles Michael Sass, Jr. age 75, of Point Place, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. He was born on January 30, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Elizabeth “Betty” (Dick) Sass. Chuck was a 1969 graduate of Macomber High School and served in the United States Air Force, during the Vietnam War.

Chuck worked at L.O.F., the Government Center and several years as an Operations Manager for Lucas County. In his spare time, he enjoyed sailing, working with stained glass, and tending to his flowers, especially his roses. Chuck’s highlight of his life was spending time with his granddaughter, Charlie. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Chuck is survived by his son, Charles Sass III; granddaughter, Charlie Sass; sisters, Carol (Patrick) Enright, Debbie Myers, and Linda Sass as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karmen Sass; son, Ryan Sass; brother, Michael Sass Sr.; sister, Patricia Redding; nephews, Christopher Sass and Timothy Enright; and brother-in-law, Thomas Myers.
