Charles “Chuck” Leo VanDyke, 48, of Griffin, Georgia and formerly of Bono, OH, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021. He was born January 23, 1973 in Toledo, OH to Jeffrey Cluckey and Doreen (McAtee) Varga. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time with his family and friends, especially his children. Chuck started his career at Jack’s Superette where he turned the art of cutting meat into a lifelong passion that spanned the rest of his life.
Chuck leaves behind his children, Zack, Gage, Ryan and Talon; his parents, Jeffrey Cluckey and Doreen (Robert) Varga; his siblings, Racheal (Tom), Jaime (Robert), and Jeffrey Jr. (Katie); his grandmother, Mary Cluckey; the mother of his children, Andrea VanDyke; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Catherine and Jack McAtee, Allen Cluckey and his uncle, Charlie Montry.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the family.
