Chester Michael (Mike) Slowikowski, age 58, resident of Oregon, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 1, 2026. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on August 1, 1967, to Chester and Maryann (Liberkowski) Slowikowski.
Mike graduated from Woodward High School’s class of 1986. He dedicated much of his life to his work as a material handler at TEAM Systems, where he was respected for his diligence and commitment.
Mike was a passionate sports enthusiast, particularly devoted to THE Ohio State Buckeyes, wearing their scarlet and gray with pride! His love for sports extended to following the Boston Red Sox and the Green Bay Packers. Beyond sports, he had a warm presence and a gift for humor, often bringing laughter to those around him. Above all, Mike cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, family, and friends. His joyful and caring nature made gatherings brighter, and his desire to uplift others provided comfort and joy throughout his life.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife, Michelle (Zimmerman) Slowikowski; children, Jacob (Morgan) Slowikowski and Emilee Slowikowski; grandchildren, Mason and Mya Slowikowski and Mikey Williams; sisters, Regina (Jerry) Griswald, Geri (Michael) Lee, and Davida (Adam) Tucker; sister-in-law, Marlene (Dan) Jett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Maryann Slowikowski.
Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, where a memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm.
To honor Mike’s wishes, the family asks that you wear your Ohio state gear/colors! Mike wanted everyone to be comfortable! O-H!
