Christopher Olivarez

Christopher Olivarez, age 61, of Oregon, OH, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born December 18, 1961 in Port Lavaca, TX to Telesforo and Eliodora (Rodriguez) Olivarez. Christopher married the love of his life, Virginia, and together they were married 36 years. He enjoyed all things sports. Christopher was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed running, and bowling. Christopher was a kind and generous person with a happy-go-lucky attitude.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Virginia; his uncle, Raul Olivarez; Behlmer family, Rizo family and many loving extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Anthony.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Scripture service held at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, OH, with visitation one hour prior in the church narthex. Christopher will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
