Daniel George Katschke

Daniel George Katschke, age 73, of Oregon, OH, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 27, 1949 to George and Dolores (St. John) Katschke. Daniel married the love of his life, Sherry, and together they raised their family. He was employed as a bricklayer for over 50 years. He enjoyed watching hockey and baseball and was an avid pool player, even competing and winning in Las Vegas tournaments. Daniel’s greatest joy was his family, who he loved so very much.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; his daughters, Lisa, Michelle (Duane), and Danielle (Tim); his granddaughters, Jessica, Tori, and Alice; his sister and brothers, Kathy, Terry (Carol), and Kenny (Cathy); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant granddaughter, Rebecca.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service held at 11:00 a.m. Daniel will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Mainstreet Church.
