David Cope

David Cope, 68, passed away on January 1, 2025 at his home in Oregon, Ohio. He was born to Jerry and Milly Cope in Cleveland, Ohio on September 17, 1956. Dave graduated from Clay High School in 1974.

 After he graduated he worked as a machinist and later for the City of Oregon in the Street Department for many years until retirement in 2016. Dave was an avid fisherman for many years and enjoyed auctions and gun shows. Later in life, Dave enjoyed going to breakfast with his friends, Gary and John. 

Dave is survived by his mother, Milly; brother Ralph (Leisa) Cope; nephew Noah (Alyssa) Cope and nieces, Sarah (Chris) Micham and Caitlin (Tommy) Menden as well as his great nephew and nieces, Baiden, Lia and Mari Menden. He was preceded in death by his Father, Jerry. There will be a celebration of Dave’s life at El Sol Azteca located on Navarre Ave. in Oregon, Ohio on January 12, 2025 from 2pm-5pm.
