David R. Dombrosky, 77, passed away on June 3rd, 2026 at his home. He was born to Richard J. and Dorothy L. (McQuestion) Dombrosky on May 21, 1949 in Toledo. Ohio. David was a member of the graduating class of 1967 at Waite High School. He would eventually go on to meet Judith A. Rober and they would be married on March 28, 1981. David and Judith celebrated 45 years of marriage together.
David worked as a network lineman for Toledo Edison for 39 years, retiring from the organization in 2009. During his time as a lineman, he was a member of the electrical union. He was known for his outgoing nature, always offering to help others and was considered to be a skilled handyman. David enjoyed playing a variety of card games, was a passionate supporter of Ohio State sports and the Green Bay Packers, and enjoyed the music of Neil Diamond. He was a proud grandparent, although distance separated him from them, Judith and David made it a point to visit the grandkids and great-grandkids when they could. He loved spending time with them. David’s presence is one that is already deeply missed by his loved ones and those that he connected with during his lifetime.
David is survived by his wife, Judith Dombrosky; children, Sheri Bailey and David (Kelly Riley) Dombrosky; grandchildren, Samantha (Cole) Badstein and Taylor and Jack Bailey; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Alaric, and Rosalie; his sister, Diane Dombrosky. Preceding David in death are his parents.
