Dawn Marie (Robinson) Woyame

Dawn Marie Robinson Woyame, age 80, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, on October 3, 2025, following a recent battle with complications of Osteoporosis.

Dawn was born on April 20, 1945, in Walton, New York, to parents, Pauline (Barnes) and Robert Robinson. A 1963 graduate of Olney High School in Northwood, Ohio, Dawn married her high school sweetheart, Daniel Woyame, on May 15, 1965, and they raised a beautiful family together in Northwood, Ohio.

Dawn attended Davis College, where she earned a degree in nursing. She spent the next several years working in area physician’s offices and skilled nursing facilities. Dawn was hard working, but more importantly, she was caring, which made her a favorite with her patients.

In addition to her three children, Catherine (Jim) Goodenough, Theresa (Dan Figley) Woyame and Martin (Tina Beutler) Woyame, Dawn leaves behind four granddaughters, Cecelia Balser, Kayla (Christian) Genson, Kendra Williams, Dawn Woyame and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Richard Robinson and Robert (Corinne) Robinson; and her sister, Lynette Hustwick.

Dawn was an active member at St. Louis Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society and countless committees. She was fun loving and creative. Dawn was a talented seamstress who sewed many prom, bridesmaid dresses and Halloween costumes for extended family and friends, in addition to making a variety of items for her own family. If you were lucky enough to visit during any holiday, you no doubt got a taste of her homemade candies.

Above everything else, Dawn loved her family and friends, and spending time with them was her favorite pastime.

At this time, there will be no services held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a donation to the Cherry Street Mission or Helping Hands of St Louis, both of which were close to Dawn’s heart.
