Debbie L. Zutavern, 58, of Toledo, Ohio passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. She was born on July 28, 1957 in Toledo to Letitia Gozdowski and Cleo Shufeldt. Debbie was a 1975 graduate of Whitney High School and worked at Bob Evans in Perrysburg for over 25 years.
Debbie was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St. Thomas Aquinas Church. She enjoyed many things like shopping, gambling, playing cards and had a wonderful zest for life. Debbie was always putting her family first. She will be dearly missed.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Richard; children, Scott and Nicole Zutavern; sister, Dawn Joseph; brother, Nick (Carrie) Shufeldt; mother, Letitia (Bob) Daly; uncle, Butch Gozdowski; step-sisters, Mary (Dan) Shaffer and Brenda (Bob) Keefe; sister-in-law, Barb (Frank) Suchocki and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Cleo Shufeldt; brother, Donald Shufeldt and brother-in-law, Anthony Joseph.
A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 12- 3 p.m. where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.
