Edward L. Cook, 93, died April 4, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI. He was born March 19, 1925 in Toledo. Ed was a WWII Marine veteran having served in Panama. He was a member of VFW Post 2510 and Elk Lodge in Toledo, American Legion and Moose Lodge in Hillsdale.
Ed is survived by sons Edward (Karen) Cook and Paul (Nancy) Cook; grandchildren Aaron (Kyla) Cook, Kellen Cook, Michael (Merrie) Cook, Bill (Elizabeth) Cook, Katie (Ernie) Fredenburg, Kristin Greene, Keri Greene and Robbie Greene; great grandchildren Aryss, Edyn, Megan, Matthew, Juan, Merilisa, Brayden, Sierra, Kelsie; great great grandson Jaxson; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane; parents Joseph and Edna Cook; daughter Edna Ruth Cook and 4 siblings.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, June 23, 2018, for a memorial service at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
