Buddy Largent, 34, of Toledo passed away after a short illness on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Mercy-St. Vincent’s Hospital. He was born in Toledo on October 17, 1978 and attended Waite High School. Buddy worked as a cook for various places, but his passion was football. For over 14 years he either played or coached for ESC – ETJFL.
He is survived by his life partner, Angie Mercer; children, Cecillia and Miranda Bollinger and Eugene H. Largent, IV; grandchildren, Antonie Lee and Achillies Bollinger; brothers, Joseph and Jason Johns; and nieces and nephews, Eddie, MeSha, Malon, DeVante, Terrell, Brittany and Cameron. Buddy was preceded in death by father, Eugene H. “Bud” Largent, Jr.; grandparents; and sister, Angelique.
Friends and family may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family.
