Frank B. Danyi

Frank B. Danyi, age 75, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on July 5, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Mary (Feyes) Danyi. Frank participated in the Civil Air Patrol while attending Clay High School, graduating in 1968. He went on to study at the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics and, while in Pittsburgh, served as a volunteer firefighter. Frank enjoyed photography and worked at North American Photo, Owens Corning, and other photography studios while also serving as an active wedding photographer in the Toledo area. He later worked as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office-Central Station for 28 years, retiring in 2015. Frank was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He will be dearly missed.

Frank is survived by his children, Rebecca (Nathaniel) Staley, Sarah (Glenn) Mainardi, Rachel Wynkoop, and Joseph Danyi; grandchildren, Paige, Gehrig, Graham, Leah, Jacob, Abigail, Reese, Meadow, and Clifton; his brother, Chris (Kathy) Danyi; brother-in-law, John Hobson, sister-in-law, Carol Feyes and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Karen Hobson, brother, Robert Feyes and son-in-law, Jon Wynkoop.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
