Gary Thomas Livecchi

Gary Thomas Livecchi age 59 of Oregon, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025. Gary was born to Albert and Marilyn (Lee) Livecchi on October 15, 1965. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1984 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo. To Gary, his family was his priority. He worked while attending school because he believed in being a good provider. He loved his children fiercely, and his grandchildren even more so. He was always counted on to fix things, run the grill, be involved in Boy Scouts, play a round of golf, or enjoy a movie. He spent time woodworking, making projects for his family. As a faithful Catholic, Gary was currently a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish in Findlay and the Knights of Columbus.

Gary is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children, Stephanie, Stacey, Joshua (Demetris), Joseph (Rachel), Fr. Jacob, Katherine, Vincent, Nicholas, Martin and Sophia; grandchildren, Carly, Lily, Jackson, Ezekiel, and Bella; parents, Albert and Marilyn Livecchi; siblings, James (Kristen) Livecchi, Steven (Theresa) Livecchi, Richard (Jodi) Livecchi, Ronald (Betsy) Livecchi, Daniel (Kelly) Livecchi, and Nicole (Matt) McBrier and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Ambrose and CJ.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio, on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 2 until 8 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. with a prayer vigil to follow. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N Stadium Rd. in Oregon, Ohio, on Tuesday at 10 a.m., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Gary’s name are appreciated to the Toledo Catholic Diocese.
