Heather Lynn Musser

Heather Musser, age 46, of Oregon, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 due to injuries sustained in an auto accident.  She was born on October 30, 1977 in Toledo, Ohio to Nicholas and Constance (McLeod) Tanasy.  Heather worked as a medical assistant for many years at various nursing homes and hospitals.  Most recently, she worked as the office manager for Musser Enterprise.  Heather loved Halloween time, listening to Christmas music, traveling, and her dogs.  She enjoyed cooking and eating. Her specialty was making grape leaves.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Heather is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jim Musser; children, Alec (Sam) Kolling, and Nicolette (Devin) Murphy; grandchildren, Nala Murphy, Parker Riegsecker, Axel, Lilly, Lani, Chloe, and Devin Jr. Serrato; siblings, Mike Tanasy, James Tanasy, Jenn (Gary) Marcoaldi, and Nancy Tanasy; father-in-law, Dale (Leslie) Musser; brother-in-law, Brian (Christy) Musser; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nikki; and mother-in-law, Gerri Musser.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. where a memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
