James W. “Jim” Eck, 64, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Toledo Hospital. He was born September 17, 1954 in Toledo. Jim formerly worked at Jeep, and later retired from U.S. Coexcell. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.

Jim is survived by Tina his loving wife of 38 years; children, Jason, Josh and Jessica Eck, and Tiffany (Jason Smith) Samples; grandchildren, Olivia Robinson and Kimberleigh Eck;  siblings, Bobbie (Gary) McBee and Paul Eck. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mary (Frazier) Eck; sister Lynn Eck.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, March 22, 2019, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. where services will be at 1 p.m.  Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
