Janet Marie Moore

Janet Marie Moore, age 64, resident of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at The Gardens of St. Francis. She was born on October 23, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio, to Donald Ward and Bertha (Jahns) Prince.

Janet worked at WGTE Channel 30 as a bookkeeper, where she retired after many dedicated years.

A creative soul, Janet found great joy in scrapbooking—a beloved hobby that allowed her to capture life’s beautiful moments and share them with those she loved. She was also her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader, never missing a chance to support them at football, baseball, or t-ball games. Her vibrant spirit and presence were a constant on the sidelines.

She especially cherished the winter months she spent with her husband in Davenport, Florida. These seasons were marked by warmth, companionship, and shared experiences. She adored her Florida friends and looked forward to heading down every year.

Her warmth, kindness, witty sense of humor and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Janet leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, wrapped in the memories that will be treasured forever.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband of 45 years, Donald Moore, whom she married on May 17, 1980; children, Tiffany (Rudy) Lopez, Donald Jr. (Megan) Moore; her beloved grandchildren, Aiden, Nathan, Enzo, Maverick and Wrenley; and mother, Bertha Prince.

Janet was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Prince; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Nancy Moore; sister-in-law, Cindi Rickman; and two brothers-in-law, Mike Moore and Mitchell Moore Sr.
