Jason A. Rothenbuhler

On May 9th 2025, God chose a special person to take as his next Angel. Jason A. Rothenbuhler was taken to heaven unexpectedly on that day. Jason is now looking over his family: husband, Charlie "Larry" Rothenbuhler, 3 children, Blake, Elijah, and Allison "AJ"; mother Brenda Keller and her husband Joe Keller, and all the rest of his extended family. Jason loved his family and kids to no end. He was their cheerleader through all they did. AJ and her cheerleading, tee ball, soccer or trips to the park to push her in a swing. Eli playing baseball was one of Jason's favorite things. He was always taking Eli to games, practice, and all other things baseball. His love for his baseball family was always part of him. Jason and Blake loved to butt heads but loved each other. Jason loved Blake's baseball in the early years and loved Blake's wrestling and track when he was older even though he didn't understand it. Jason's husband, Charlie, was the love of his life. Jason would do anything to help, take care of, and ease Charlie's day. Everything Jason did was done with passion and love. Jason started Jason's Bakes in 2022. He loved to test himself and appreciated all of his customers. He would bake anything they requested and always nailed it. His popularity grew quickly. He loved it. He really enjoyed baking treats for his kids' school teachers' appreciation days, which was his final baking feat prior to his passing. He loved his treats.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. A time of sharing will be held at 4 p.m.

In honor of Jason and in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Lucas County Children's Services in Jason's name. Without them, we would never have been a family, Jason's family that he loves more than himself.
