Jean Ann Padilla

Jean Ann Padilla (Mossburg), 82, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born on February 17, 1943, in Summit County, Ohio, to Ambrose (Andy) and Margaret Mossburg.

She will now, at long last, be reunited with her beloved children, Jerry Lee Kellar and Kelly Sue Kellar. She leaves behind her daughters, Robin (George) Heath and Beverly (Gene) Kadas, her grandchildren, Sam Kadas (Ariana Nubel), Chloe Kadas, Alex Heath (Abbey Scherf), and Adam Heath, as well as her cousin, Connie (Dennis) Schwind, with whom she shared an especially close bond.

Jean attended both Clay and Waite High Schools and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo in 1993. She held many occupations over the years and owned several businesses, including The Uniform Outlet and The Amish Country Store, both in Northwood, Ohio. However, her passion was for sewing. She was an avid seamstress who helped countless brides and prom attendees make their dreams come true.

She was a kind and generous soul who always had a smile on her face, despite having endured much hardship and heartbreak in her life. She was loved and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at Athens Missionary Baptist Church, 101 Breckman St, Walbridge, OH 43465, on Wednesday, June 18, at 5:30 p.m. for all who wish to remember her.
