Heaven gained another angel on January 2, 2016, when Jeffery A. Forbes, Sr. age 51, passed away. Jeffery was born on March 20, 1964, in Toledo, Oh to Walter L. and Frances Forbes.
A loving father, grandfather, Jeff's passion was spending time with his children and grandchildren. From a young age Jeff loved working on cars, which he did until his sickness became too much for him to handle.
Jeff is survived by his loving children; daughter, Brandy (Salvador) Flores, son, Jeffery (Lauryel) Forbes, Jr.; granddaughters; Echo (Pa-Pa's Best Friend) and Paige; grandson, Damion; siblings, Michelle (James) Long, Walter (Debbie) Forbes, Sr., Darold (Roxanne) Forbes, Sr. and Hermina Forbes; half-brothers, Joe (Jenny) Boyd, John Boyd as well as his aunt's, uncle's and many nieces and nephews. Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Kendall Lee.
Jeffery's family would like to thank his special friends, Anna Orth Braswell, Benny King and Bishop G. Frank Sherman, Eulogist.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 after 2 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made directly to his children, Brandy Forbes or Jeffery Forbes, Jr.
