Jeffery Hartwig

Jeff Hartwig, age 62, of Oregon, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on July 26th, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Kimberly. He was a loving father to Cody (Jamie), and Stacey.

He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Jeff retired two years ago from working 30 years at Chrysler in Perrysburg. You could always find Jeff at the camper or in his garage with a Busch Light in his hand. Jeff loved campfires, camping and hosting at Maumee Bay State Park several months out of the year. He loved watching Ohio State football, The Bengals, and The Cincinnati Reds. He loved Nascar; his favorite drivers were Rusty Wallace and Kurt Busch. Jeff loved watching the sunset, classic country music, and ending the night with milk and cookies.

Jeff is in the memory of his loving wife; two children; siblings, Dan, Deb (Gene), and Doug; In-laws, John and Sue McKeen, Marc (Kerrie) McKeen, Kelley Moore; nieces, nephews, friends, and his rescue dog from Tulsa, Nyla. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Hazel.

A celebration of life will be held at Jerusalem Township Fire Hall, 9501 Jerusalem Rd., Saturday, August 2nd from 3pm-9pm. Please bring a beer to cheer Jeff’s memory.
