Joan M. Jadzinski

Joan M. Jadzinski, age 68, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on May 1, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Leonard and Marjie (Dow) Jadzinski.

A devoted nurse at Heartland of Perrysburg, Joan dedicated over 30 years to her profession, where her caring nature and sweet disposition made her a cherished member of the healthcare community. Her commitment to her patients was a testament to her admirable character.

An active member of the Antioch Apostolic Church in Holland for over 40 years, Joan played a vital role in her church community. Throughout the years, she dedicated herself to teaching Sunday school, leading bible study, and coordinating vacation bible school, leaving a lasting impact on the many lives she guided and nurtured through her faith.

Joan was not only a beloved nurse and congregation member but also a cherished great-aunt who enjoyed spending time with her great-great nieces and nephew.

She was an avid bowler, participating in several leagues, and found joy in crafts that allowed her creativity to shine. Playing cards such as UNO and Yahtzee brought her much happiness. Joan also enjoyed playing bingo and had a special love for cats.

Traveling was one of Joan's greatest pleasures. She often set off on adventures to beautiful destinations like Mackinaw Island and other beautiful areas in Michigan, where she enjoyed seeking out lighthouses. Camping trips provided her with an opportunity to immerse herself in nature, creating cherished memories along the way.

Joan’s warm, caring spirit will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness, service, and love will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving niece, Theresa Hadvina; great niece, Jessica (Sean) Hamilton; great-great nieces and nephew, Natalie, Channing, Maya, Gracelyn; and a special friend who was like a sister, Cindy Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-great nephew, Justin Lee Cowell; brother, Thomas Jadzinski; sister, Darlene Hadvina; brother-in-law, Andrew Hadvina; and sister-in-law, Donna VanDoren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
