John J. Barta

John J. Barta, age 79, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, May 3rd, 2024. He was born to Gilbert and Elizabeth (Farkas) Barta on June 21, 1944. John retired from the City of Toledo, Water Dept. and The TMA.

John was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gilbert. John is survived by his wife, Veronica and son, John, and special little buddy, Gemini. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the kind and caring staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

John will be laid to rest at North Oregon Cemetery with private graveside committal services. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH.
