John "Jack" Bartic

John R. Bartic Jr., age 80, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2023 at home surrounded by family.  He was born on May 2, 1943 to John Bartic and Veronica Stetz.  Jack was a graduate of Waite High School and worked at Sun Oil for many years as fire chief.  He married his wife, Rose on April 22, 1989.  He later worked for the Jeep Corporation as safety inspector before retiring.  Jack loved to golf and would go out year-round.  He also enjoyed going to car shows, showing off his El Camino. Jack was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.  He will be dearly missed.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Rose Bartic; children; Jaqueline, Robert, Kenneth, Jennifer, Michael, Debbie, and Rebecca; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Patricia.
