John Harner,59, passed away on June 26, 2026 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born to Donald and Frances (Ridge) Harner in Braddock, Pennsylvania on July 13th, 1966. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a role he took great pride in.
John worked in various job roles for both The Toledo Mud Hens and The Huntington Center. He was a family man who took a special joy in spending time with his grandchildren. John was always there for his family and friends whether it be his own children, grandchildren, or others who he cared for. In addition to supporting his family, John was also a passionate and proud Pennsylvanian and could be found supporting the Pittsburg Steelers in their games. Those who knew and loved John will continue to miss his presence in their lives.
John is survived by his sons, Travis (Paige) and Kevin Harner as well as other children who grieve his loss. Numerous grandchildren; siblings Colleen, Donald, and Robin; as well as his mother, Frances. Preceding John in death is his father, Donald.
Services are private per the wishes of family. Memorial contributions can be made to the care of the family.
