Jose Luis Mendoza

Jose Luis Mendoza age 83, of Oregon, Ohio passed away June 5, 2022, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Jose was born in Mercedes, Texas on October 26, 1938, to the late Manuel and Adelina (Castro) Mendoza. He retired from Chrysler after over 30 years of service. Jose loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, and listening to country-western music.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Margaret; 5 daughters Nickie Mendoza, Veronica (Dan) Heuring, Tori (John Kosztak) Mendoza, Paula (Dennis Prebe) Mendoza, and Jennifer (Albert) Sanchez; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gilbert and sisters Guadalupe, Tomasa, Lydia, and Esperanza.

Friends may call Freck Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 3 until 8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the American Red Cross.
