Juanita "Neat" Jean Lenstrohm, of Walbridge, Ohio and Scottsdale, Arizona passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026 at Parkcliffe Community of Northwood. She was born in Toledo on September 11, 1936, to Vernon & Mary (Ruger) Richmond. Juanita was a graduate of Waite High School. She married Peter Lenstrohm in 1984, and they were married 35 years until his passing in 2019. After high school, Juanita worked for Virgil Gladieux in the office and soon after became a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Toledo. She enjoyed playing Bunco for many years. Juanita (and Pete) loved garage sales, camping, eating out, the VFW, dancing at Mon Ami and Waldo Peppers. The two of them were always up for an adventure! Most of all, they loved spending time with family and friends. Juanita and Pete enjoyed traveling back and forth from Arizona to Ohio for about 35 years.
Surviving are children Cindy (Roger) Cedoz, Kent (Loretta Alonzo) Parton, Tamara (Roger) Anton and Jennifer (Steve) Bachtel of Georgia, step-children Peter III (Rhea) Lenstrohm, John (Lisa) Lenstrohm, both of Arizona, Rita (Matt) Lynch of Tennessee, and Joe Volk of Arizona. Juanita is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-law Dorothy Munding. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Peter, ex-husband Jim Parton, brother Leon Munding, and step-daughter Diane Volk.
Juanita’s family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the wonderful team who cared for our mom. Thank you Michele, Kathy, Angie, Christy, Wendi, Carol, Deb, Theda, Chris, Jazz, Maddy, Mindy, Tammy, and the rest of the staff that was so helpful from Care360 Hospice and Parkcliffe in Northwood. She was very blessed to have the love and support of so many. A special thank you to Pastor Cindy Ritter for the many visits she made to see mom.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon. On Monday, February 9, there will be a visitation at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Rd. in Toledo, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at St. Mark at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Lake Township Cemetery.
