Keene “Tom” Ludlow, 85, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, surrounded by family members. He was born on September 17, 1936, in Perrysburg, Ohio to Irma and Keene Thomas Ludlow Jr. Tom was a 1954 graduate of Maumee High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. Tom worked as a crane operator for Toledo World Terminals, retiring after 43 years of service. He bowled 300 games, loved golfing with his friends, and going to the casino. Tom was an avid Notre Dame football fan and could be seen riding his bike around Oregon. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his wife LaDonna Jean, his heart broke when she passed away in 2020.
Tom is survived by his children, Terri (Dave) Fitzpatrick, Cindy (Don) Hughes, Thomas (Trish) Ludlow, Patti (Mike) Briley, Jeffrey (Kelly) Ludlow, and Mark Ludlow; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and siblings, Laura (Arthur) Shippy, John Ludlow, and Sue Foster. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, and siblings Larry Ludlow, Joan Zelling, and Martin Ludlow.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd Oregon, OH 43616 on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
