Larry A. Angel

Larry A. Angel, age 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 surrounded by family members. He was born on June 23, 1939 in Oregon, Ohio to Jay and Mary (Brown) Angel. Larry was a 1957 graduate of Clay High School and worked as a bricklayer before joining JL Angel Company where he became general manager and President. Larry married his wife, Barbara, on July 27, 1984. He eventually went to work for Cerco as sales manager, retiring in 2022. Larry was a hardworking man who could build and fix just about anything. He was devoted to his family and loved being a grandfather. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and his Sunday coffee with his buddies at Burger King. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Barbara Angel; children, Doug Angel, Linda (Angel) Voutsas, Jesse (Makayla) Angel, Jay (Christine) Angel, and Joey (Magan) Angel; grandchildren, Greg (Kristi) Brown, Todd (Bree) Ridgeway, Jacob (Kelly) Brown, Anthony Ridgeway, Alice Angel, Braxton Angel, Heaven Angel, Lorenzo Angel, and Larry Angel; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Raelynn Brown; his brothers, Leonard (Mary Jo) Angel and Loren (Elaine) Angel and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Mary; daughter, Joan Angel; and his sister, Marie Nelson.

Private services will be held for family. Burial will take place at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Larry’s name to American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
