Lavon "Bonnie" Moell

Lavon “Bonnie” Moell, 90, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center.  She was born on April 29, 1932 in Shelby County, Ohio to Edward and Emma Thuman.  Bonnie was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.  She enjoyed volunteering for church functions and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Darla Orlando, Stephen (Debbie) Moell, and Jock (Angie) Moell; grandchildren, Steve (Mary) Moell, Ben Gadd, Deanna Moell, Nikki (Don) Davies, Jason (Amy) Gadd, Brandi Orlando, Brian (Dana) Moell, Misty Lainhart, Scott Moell, Mark Moell, Seth Frank, and Allen White; 20 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; sisters, Velma, Mildred, Dorothy; and half-brother, Richard Thuman.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 12:00-8:00 p.m.  Additional visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with prayers at 10:30 a.m. before continuing to St. Ignatius Catholic Church for the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church or Altar Rosary Society.
